IWEP-QCQSC' 2024

Quantum Computation and Quantum Secure Communication量子计算和量子安全通信

The IWEP-QCQSC’2024 session, will be held in Kunming, Yunnan during October 27-29, 2024. This session will collect high-quality original articles, and all submitted papers must be original articles related to the field. All papers will be peer-reviewed by at least 2-3 reviewers and the content will be evaluated based on the originality, technical and research content/depth, correctness, relevance to the conference, contribution and readability.

The science of quantum information has arisen over the last four decades centered on the manipulation of individual quanta of information, known as quantum bits or qubits. Quantum computers, quantum cryptography, and quantum teleportation are among the most celebrated ideas that have emerged from this new field. Recently, the applications of quantum computing models into quantum cryptography have achieved important advances. This workshop calls for works demonstrating the most recent progress and contributions to quantum information.

Potential topics include but are not limited to:

  • Quantum computing

  • Relative quantum information
  • Quantum random number generation
  • Continuous variable quantum key distribution

Session Chair

Dr. Jian Zhou

Central South University of Forestry and Technology
Jian Zhou is a lecturer at the Central South University of Science and Technology. Jian Zhou received the Ph.D. degree in engineering from Central South University, Changsha, China, in 2019. Since September 2020, he was employed in Central South University of Forestry and Technology. His current research interest covers continuous-variable quantum key distribution and quantum computing. He is the author or coauthor of more than 20 peer-review papers published in various academic journals and conferences, including Physical Review A, Advanced Quantum Technology, Journal of physics A, Quantum information processing, European Physical Journal Plus, Annalen der Physik and so on. He has served as reviewer in international academic journals, including: Quantum Science and Technology; New Journal of Physics; Physical Review A; European Physical Journal Plus; Physica Scripta; Quantum information processing; International Journal of Theoretical Physics.
